While the pixel density seems comparable to my 26" 1080p monitor (at comparable/normal distance), the lenses are not perfect. The canted design that allows a wide field of view also means the left/right sweet spots don’t overlap. This leads to an optical awkwardness that took me a few weeks to acclimate to in the 5k (there are also edge distortions I noticed at first).
